Privacy policy

This policy explains how swatitara.com processes personal information when you answer the questionnaire, watch your kundli session, pay for your complete reading, receive our emails or contact us. Privacy rights vary with your place of residence; we respect the rights that apply to you.

1. Data controller

2. Information we collect

• Identity and contact details: first name, email address.
• Birth details, used to calculate your chart: date of birth, time of birth (or the fact that you do not know it), place of birth.
• Questionnaire answers: your gender (optional), the subject you chose, your relationship status, your family birth star if you know it, and your second question.
• Purchase details: order history, amount and currency, payment references. Stripe and PayPal process your card details; we never store them.
• Technical information: IP address and the country it indicates, browser details, session identifiers, pages visited, how far your session was watched, and the delivery, opening and clicks of our emails.

We never ask for your religion, caste, health, income or immigration status. Share only your own birth details, or those of someone who agrees to it.

3. How and why information is used

Software calculates your chart and selects the parts of your session from your answers. This produces entertainment content; it makes no legal or similarly significant decision about you.

4. Who receives your information

Your information is shared only with the providers needed for the service, each for its own task:

• QuizFunnel: questionnaire, chart calculation and assembly of your session videos, including the cloud services it uses to produce and deliver them.
• Stripe: payments by Apple Pay, Google Pay or card (Stripe keeps your card details). PayPal: payments, when you choose it.
• Resend: delivery of our emails.
• OVHcloud: hosting of the Site and its database.
• Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram advertising), through the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API: pages viewed, questionnaire completed, payment started and purchase with its amount and currency, your IP address and browser, and your email address in hashed (one-way encoded) form.
• AppLovin (Axon advertising), through its pixel: the same events and, for a purchase, your email address.
• X Corp. (X advertising), through the X Pixel and its conversion service: the same events and your email address in hashed form.

Meta, AppLovin and X receive these events only once advertising measurement is enabled for swatitara.com, never your birth details, your answers or your second question. We do not publish your session, and we do not sell your personal information for money. Under some US state laws (for example California), sending these events to Meta, AppLovin or X for advertising can count as “sharing” personal information: when your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, no advertising pixel loads on swatitara.com, and you can opt out of this sharing at any time with the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” choice below or by writing to swati@swatitara.com.

5. International processing

Our operator is based in Hong Kong, and our providers may process information in other countries, including the United States, the European Union and Canada. Where the law of your country requires it, transfers rely on the safeguards offered by these providers. Contact us for details.

6. Retention

Your session videos and your replay are deleted 60 days after your session. Order and payment records are kept as long as accounting and tax law require. Your contact details are kept while you have an account or receive our emails, and deleted on request when they are no longer needed for these purposes.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or certain US states), you may ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to some uses, opt out of advertising measurement and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to swati@swatitara.com; we may need to verify your identity. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.

Every reminder and offer email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Messages needed for your purchase and your account may still be sent. We do not send text messages or WhatsApp messages.

8. Cookies

Essential cookies keep your session open, secure the forms, remember your private access to your session and remember your cookie choice. Advertising measurement cookies (Meta, AppLovin, X) are used only once enabled for this Site. If you are in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, the European Union or the EEA, they load only after you click “Accept” in our cookie banner, and no purchase is reported to these advertisers without it; “Reject” is just as easy, your choice is kept for 180 days, and the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of our pages lets you change it. Elsewhere, they follow your privacy choices, including the Global Privacy Control signal. You can also manage cookies in your browser; blocking essential cookies may prevent your session or your payment from working.

9. Security

We use access controls, password hashing and encrypted connections to protect your information. No system is risk-free: keep your password and your private links to yourself, and tell us if you suspect someone else used your account.
